The North Loop Dog Grounds, which has been in the planning phase for over a year, broke ground today! If the rain subsides, it should be open in just a few weeks.

When?
I am soooo thrilled to hear about this. I am anxiously awaiting the completion of my new loft at 730 Lofts and my two dogs are going to be thrilled to finally getoff their leash while outdoors.
Can anyone tell me when the park will be open to bring our dogs?

Brett, thank you for the comment and for registering with Dog Grounds! Kraus Anderson's construction crews have been working quickly and it looks like the fence and ground cover will be installed before the neighborhood has decided what else to put in the park! We are hoping this can all be accomplished by October 24th in time for an Opening Ceremony at 5:00 pm. Stay tuned for confirmation, but save the date for now.
The North Loop Dog Owners Group will participate in the selection of seating, shade and other features to be installed and manage the on-going operation of the park with the help of Dog Grounds' Board.
